Vaccinated!
Today they had a H1N1 vaccination clinic at the local high school for students. It took us 2 hours in line, but Taylor is now vaccinated against the H1N1 virus. Now if I could just find vaccinations for Hubby and I for H1N1 and all 3 of us still need the regular flu vaccine still. Things have been scarce in our area!
If you missed my earlier posts on the flu topic make sure you take time to read them. One is about making a plan ahead of time in case you or others in your house get sick - some really handy tips. The other is about the H1N1 flu and some facts about it in general. Stay healthy everyone!

I got the seasonal shot on Halloween, but am still looking for the H1N1 shots in my area. I saw a flashing electronic sign on a hospital building about available shots, but traffic was too busy for reading. We checked their website later, but no go.
Will keep looking!!
i'm sure you guys have tried this, but our family was lucky enough to get the vaccine for everyone (kids *and* parents) at our local Health Dept. they only had the mist option, but none of us had any side effects (but we will need a 2nd dose for the kids in a month). it was completely free -- and took about 10 minutes. we heard that Health Depts in our city have widely different stock...and the closest one to our house just had more than enough for demand.
There isn't any H1N1 vaccines available in our area, not even for my little ones. They have all gotten their seasonal flu shots though and we're waiting for them to be able to get the H1N1. DH and I also have had our seasonal vaccine. We just can't take any chances.
Robyn, not sure if you saw, but FH is doing another H1N1 clinic today. The health dept isn't offering it but you can do it through the school again plus they are expecting to have another in the future.
Be careful because from what I understand, there should be a delay in between getting the seasonal and H1N1.
