Time For Kids: President Obama Book Review & Giveaway

Taylor and I were asked to review another book about President Obama, this one is TIME For Kids President Obama: A Day in the Life of America's Leader. This is one of our favorite books about President Obama to date.

While it says ages 9-12, I think that older kids, even adults, will actually enjoy the book. It is fact-filled, but not terribly long reading on each page. I think it would be good for those older kids who need high-interest reading material. Tons of full-color pictures as well. We are including this book as part of social studies with homeschooling and so I asked Taylor to give a quick glimpse of his favorite parts of the book and why he likes it.

• The time line on page 8 and 9 is very informative and interesting
  
• The "did you know" bubbles have little bits of cool info throughout the book
  
• Provides info on how President Obama lives a semi-normal life... except for being president and all...
• There is a quiz in the back to "test your presidential IQ"
• Lots of interesting pics of Obama doing average person things
  

This would be another great gift suggestion for the young readers on your holiday list or great for a teacher gift for the classroom. The book is a paperback, 128 pages, and full color. List prize is $11.99 in the US, but you can get an even better price at Amazon.com
