Ben 10 & Secret Saturdays Video Game Reviews & Giveaway!

My family and I were invited to a launch of some new games, but unfortunately we already had plans that weekend and couldn't go. However, they did send the games for us to review and extras to giveaway to my readers! Both of the games, Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks and The Secret Saturdays: Beats of the 5th Sun are both based on hit Cartoon Network shows. If you've got kids (or grown-ups who are like kids still) in the house that are fans of the shows they will love these video games too!

In The Secret Saturdays: Beasts of the 5th Sun game you are are playing as the Saturday family members and discovering Cryptids in this action-packed adventure game. As you collect the Cryptids you can record the details in your own Cryptipedia. There are 10 levels with different levels to play through. Taylor liked that there were multiple attack strengths/types and he said it had decent shaders (I have no idea what it means, but he said gamers do LOL). While playing, Taylor was surprised at how much fighting was in the game. The game is rated E10+ for Cartoon Violence though so it is a fitting rating. It is a 1 player only game and is available on the Nintendo Wii for $39.95 and on the PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, and PSP for $29.95

In Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks you are in control of Ben and the Omnitrix and all 10 of Ben's alien forms (Echo Echo, Goop, Brainstorm, Chromastone, Big Chill, Humungousaur, Spidermonkey, Swampfire, Jet Ray, and Cannonbolt) and their special powers to battle Vilgax. You can travel to the alien planets and you can upgrade the spacecraft even. Taylor and Hubby both liked the action and challenge in this game. It is also a 1 player game and rated E10+ for Fantasy Violence. The game is available on the Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 for $39.95 and the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, and PSP for $29.95

Both of the games, as I mentioned, are based on very popular shows on Cartoon Network. If you have kids, especially boys probably, to buy for during the holidays that are around 9 years to 12 years they may really enjoy these games. Since they are available on so many different gaming platforms they probably have at least one of them (check with them if you aren't sure).
