Pledge Furniture Polish Review & Giveaway
Dust - ugh - it is not something I like, but judging by things in my house you would think I was a major collector and treasured it like fine art! Cleaning has never been high on my list of things I want to do, but it's just something you have to force yourself to do. Luckily, Hubby doesn't seem to have a problem with cleaning and helps out a lot.
The thing about the dust is that Hubby has always had allergies and I know I have to try better to keep that dust at bay. When asked to review Pledge's Anti-Dust Formula I had to give it a try. I mean it says Anti-Dust right in the name and if anyone is Anti-Dust it is me because I certainly not Pro-Dust!
Most of us grew up with Pledge, but when my sample arrived I took some time to actually read the can. I learned a few things that I thought I would share with you.
- The Anti-Dust formula has Allergen Trappers - these will help keep those things that make Hubby sneeze at bay
- This is a no wax formula which means no residue build-up on your furniture
- Pledge will remove dust, dirt, smudges, and common allergens from pet dander and pollen (great for open window season and for our 2 cats)
- In addition to being great on finished, sealed wood items it also is great for a clean shine on stainless steel, leather, marble and granite! Who knew?

Dust---the enemy that keeps coming back, much like those masked characters in the horror movies!!
I was not aware that they had so many cleaning products available, for glass, floors, and everything...I was only familiar with the traditional lemon Pledge for wood furniture.
Anyone who has pet hair to tangle with, in the home or auto, might want to take a look at their pet hair remover product. It claims to do the job of 145 of those sticky roller-sheet thingies!
This is one thing I learned. It's not about Pledge but it's gross:
Household dust contains hard particles of minute sand and soil. Plant and insect parts come into the house with soil and sand. Dust is full of leaf parts, mold spores and other plant material.
I love houseplants. This make me want to dust them all!
Also, I didn't know that Pledge made a multi surface product. I really gotta get some to try!
I also follow you on Twitter and have twittered the contest, http://twitter.com/coriwestphal.
I've also stumbled the contest: coriwestphal. Thanks!

I have allergies and have always been a pledge user!
I already follow you on twitter - hence how I found out about the great contests.
Will stumble and digg
I had no idea that they had a multi-surface product that cleaned electronics, too. Very cool!

In 2005, SC Johnson became the first major consumer packaged goods company to partner with the EPA in its Design for the Environment program.
Pretty cool...who knew that??

I can't get into the Pledge website. I get this message
Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.
I do love Pledge though!
I did not know they had a new multi-surface cleaner in lavender fresh!
I did not know you could use Pledge to clean leather furniture.
Something that I never took into consideration was this information. Pet dander is very sticky—it can remain in a home for up to six months after a pet has been removed.
Dander can be found on surfaces as unlikely as entertainment centers or coffee tables.
Finally a cleaner for multiple surfaces.
Pledge Natural Removes up to 84% of allergens from dust mites and pet dander found in dust
This might be a help for my allergies.
That Pledge makes a product for laminate floors. That's great to know since I have a brand new laminate floor in my kitchen and was trying to decide what I should purchase to clean it with.
I didn't know that the Anti-Dust formula has allergen trappers - that's pretty useful here with my allergies and all this dust that's getting kicked up from our wood stove going constantly right now!
OMG - I had NO idea that Pledge makes a fabric sweeper for Pet hair. There are lots of things I learned on the site. Like, there's DANDER in dust???? Who knew?
